What are tokens, jettons and NFTs
A token is a form of crypto asset that represents some kind of value on the blockchain. This is a blockchain-based crypto asset created using a smart contract. Many services create their own tokens to sell goods and services. Such assets are fungible, meaning that multiple users can simultaneously store them in their wallets.
Jettons are tokens created on the TON blockchain. Toncoin itself is neither a jetton, nor a token — it’s a native cryptocurrency of the TON blockchain. Jettons are also fungible tokens.
NFTs, or non-fungible tokens, are unique assets on the blockchain that can only be owned by one person. Two people cannot own the same NFT at the same time.
Does Crypto Wallet support NFTs and tokens
Crypto Wallet supports two types of tokens:
- Supported tokens — you can deposit and withdraw them from external services, as well as swap via our “Trade” section. See the list of supported tokens here.
- Trading Assets — tokens that you can exchange for TON, USDT and XLM in the “Trade” section and store in your Crypto Wallet account. However, you cannot withdraw these tokens to external platforms or deposit them from third-party services for now. See the list of Trading Assets here.
Other than this, Crypto Wallet does not support tokens and NFTs. If you send NFTs and tokens, that are not supported, to your Crypto Wallet address, they will not be displayed in your account and may be lost.
Therefore, we recommend using TON Wallet for storing these crypto assets on the TON blockchain.
In the future, we will continue to expand the list of supported tokens and trading assets.
I accidentally sent unsupported tokens to Crypto Wallet. Can they be deposited in my account
Tokens on TON, Tron, Ethereum, Solana and Stellar:
Tokens that are not supported, cannot be deposited in your Crypto Wallet. However, you can contact our support team — we will do our best to help you return them. To request a return, you will need to:
- Provide the transaction hash of the tokens deposit.
- Specify the address for their return.
- Wait for the support specialist to review the information and for the tokens to be sent to the provided address.
Note:
- The support specialist may adjust the return process if necessary.
- We will do everything possible to help you recover your tokens, but please note that their returns are not always guaranteed.
Tokens on Bitcoin:
Unsupported tokens cannot be deposited to your Crypto Wallet, and unfortunately, it is impossible to return tokens on the Bitcoin network. If you send unsupported assets on Bitcoin to Crypto Wallet, they will remain stored on your blockchain address without the possibility of transfer or return.
I accidentally sent NFTs to Crypto Wallet. Can they be deposited in my account
It is not possible to deposit NFTs in Crypto Wallet, since these crypto assets are not supported. Unfortunately, we also can't return NFTs — they will remain stored on your blockchain address without the possibility of transfer or return.
Note: the possibility of a return may be changed by Crypto Wallet depending on technical capabilities.
How long does the token return process take
The return process may take more than two days after contacting the support team, depending on the network and the type of tokens involved.
