What tabs are available in the "Swap" section
In the “Swap” section, you can see tokens on the TON network available for swapping and assess the potential benefits of acquiring them. The section includes the following asset tabs:
- Core Tokens — the most popular assets on the TON network.
- Most Traded — assets with the largest trading volume in the market over the past 24 hours.
- Stocks & ETFs — tokenized stocks and ETFs available for swapping. You can learn more about Stocks and ETFs in TON Wallet here.
Swaps in TON Wallet
After you have reviewed the tokens in the ‘Trending in TON’ and ‘Stocks & ETFs’ tabs, you can proceed to swap them.
Swap in TON Wallet allows users to convert their tokens into other cryptocurrencies on the TON blockchain. The swap is carried out through the third-party service Omniston, while TON Wallet simply provides a convenient interface for accessing the service.
Omniston is a liquidity aggregator that compares prices across decentralized exchanges (DEX) in the TON ecosystem to offer you the best rate for each swap. You can now swap a wider variety of TON-blockchain tokens using Omniston.
How to swap tokens in TON Wallet
To perform a token swap in TON Wallet:
- Tap ‘Swap’ at the bottom of TON Wallet’s main menu.
- Select the token you want to swap.
- Choose the token you want to receive — it can be searched for by name. When you tap on the information icon next to the token, you will be taken to its page.
Note: stocks and ETFs can only be swapped in pairs with USDT — you can swap them for USDT or purchase them using USDT.
- Enter the amount you want to swap or receive. Based on the current rate, the corresponding amount will be calculated automatically.
- Check swap details by tapping ‘Details’ on the swap page:
- Current rate;
- Slippage — the maximum acceptable rate deviation;
You can increase this percentage if needed to raise the chance of a successful swap. Tap ‘Slippage’ during the swap to do so.
- Min. received — the minimum amount you will get, considering the slippage tolerance.
- Value difference — the percentage impact of the swap on the number of coins and market price of the token.
Important: If the number is highlighted in orange or red, it indicates a high value difference — you may receive fewer tokens than expected.
- After checking the details, tap ‘Continue’ and confirm that all parameters are correct on the next screen.
7. On this page, you can also select the fee payment method — either in TON, Telegram Stars or USDT.
We have removed fees for swapping USDT for stocks and ETFs until February 28, 2026, 23:59 UTC.
You can temporarily swap USDT for stocks and ETFs with zero fee.
8. If you agree with all the terms, confirm the operation.
After a successful swap, the tokens will be credited to your TON Wallet balance.
Important:
If the swap fails for any reason (e.g., due to technical issues on the blockchain or the partner side), the fee is not refunded, as it has already been deducted and sent to the network.
If you have any issues related to the Omniston service, you can contact their support team at: @STONfi_support_bot.
Which assets can be swapped
Omniston supports swaps for a wide variety of asset pairs. Only in rare cases a swap combination may be unavailable.
To initiate a swap from within TON Wallet, you need to:
- Have enough TON, USDT or Telegram Stars on your balance to cover the gas fee required for a transaction on the blockchain.
- Have the asset you are swapping from, in the selected quantity.
- Select the token you want to receive on the Omniston swap screen.
What does the label “The community does not have information regarding this jetton” next to a jetton in TON Wallet mean
This label indicates that the token is not whitelisted by the community.
The community whitelist is a list of tokens that have been approved and verified by community members.
This notice may appear in two cases:
- The token was recently created and has not yet been reviewed.
- The token lacks verified value or there is no information confirming its reliability.
Before interacting with any tokens:
- Conduct your own research (DYOR — Do Your Own Research).
- Exercise caution: such tokens may be illiquid, fraudulent or short-lived.
If you are the token creator:
You can apply for your token to be whitelisted after completing the required verification process.
I want to obtain a specific jetton, but don’t see its name in the swap list
Omniston allows you to swap a variety of tokens. If a token pair isn't available, the service automatically finds the best route for a fast and convenient swap.
The list of available jettons for swap in TON Wallet depends on several factors, including the liquidity and activity of a specific jetton, and can change from time to time.
What should I do if during a swap in TON Wallet, I receive an error asking to add TON
Every transaction on the TON blockchain requires a network fee. If you selected TON as your fee currency, you will need some TON regardless of what is being swapped. For example, if you swap Notcoin to USDT, you still need some TON to pay the network fee.
To successfully cover the network fee costs, we recommend that you reserve at least 0.5 TON in your TON Wallet.
If you don’t have enough TON in your balance, you can top up your TON Wallet in the following ways:
- Deposit TON from another wallet or from a centralized exchange (CEX). Your Telegram contacts can also transfer TON to you via a Telegram chat.
- Buy TON with your bank card in TON Wallet.
You can also choose to pay the fee using Telegram Stars or USDT during the swap.
Will the fee that was charged for the failed swap in TON Wallet be refunded
No, it won’t be possible to refund a transaction fee. Since the exchange in TON Wallet takes place via blockchain, a small network fee in TON is charged for such transactions.
The network fee is used to maintain the blockchain operations and execute transfers. As with other transactions that occur on the blockchain, they are irreversible and the fees cannot be refunded.
Are there regional restrictions for swapping
Yes, regional restrictions may apply to certain types of assets.
In particular, the swap of tokenized stocks and ETFs may be unavailable to users in certain regions in accordance with the Terms of Use and the requirements of the asset issuer. Learn more
