What are the selling and withdrawal limits

DeFi Account does not impose withdrawal limits. However, MoonPay has its own terms and limits for selling cryptocurrency and withdrawing funds to a bank card.

You can review MoonPay's limits on its website.

Is verification (KYC) required

DeFi Account is non-custodial and does not require verification. However, to sell cryptocurrency and withdraw funds to a bank card through MoonPay, you need to complete verification with the provider.

For more information, see MoonPay's verification guide.

Are there regional restrictions for withdrawing to a bank card in DeFi Account

Yes. Bank card withdrawals may be unavailable for two reasons.

  • DeFi Account is unavailable in your country. According to the Terms of Use, DeFi Account is not available in certain countries. You can find the full list here. Bank card withdrawals may also be unavailable in certain countries or regions, such as the United Kingdom.
  • MoonPay does not support your region. MoonPay is a third-party provider with its own availability rules. Its services are not available everywhere. You can find the current list of unsupported countries on the MoonPay website.

If bank card withdrawals are unavailable, the Bank Card option won't appear on the withdrawal screen. In this case, you can check whether selling cryptocurrency through the Crypto Wallet P2P Market is available instead.

What data is shared with the provider

Only the following data is shared:

  • Your crypto wallet address, which is required to transfer your cryptocurrency.
  • Your email address, which is used to sign in to MoonPay.

Your KYC (identity verification) information and bank card details are entered directly in the MoonPay interface. They are not shared with us and are not stored in DeFi Account.

Why do I need to complete verification on the provider's page

MoonPay has its own verification requirements and must verify your identity before processing the payout. Verification usually takes no more than five minutes. Prepare the requested documents and follow the on-screen instructions.

If you encounter any issues during verification, contact MoonPay support through its website.

Why isn’t my card accepted for withdrawal

If your card isn't accepted, it's most likely due to restrictions related to your country, bank, or card type. Contact MoonPay support through its website to find out the reason.

Why was my withdrawal declined even though I passed verification and tried different payment methods

If your withdrawal through MoonPay was declined even after successful verification and several attempts with different cards or payment methods, the issue is on MoonPay's side.

Possible reasons include:

  • Your country or region is not supported by MoonPay for bank card withdrawals.
  • Your card, payment method, or bank is not supported.
  • You've reached your MoonPay account limits.
  • Temporary technical issues on MoonPay's side.

DeFi Account only provides the interface to create and confirm your crypto sale request.

To find out the exact reason, contact MoonPay support directly. They can check your transaction status and explain why the withdrawal was declined.

The sale didn't go through, but tokens were sent. What should I do

If your tokens were sent but the sale didn't go through, contact MoonPay support through its website. They can check the status of your transaction.

DeFi Account only provides the interface to create and confirm requests to sell GRAM (prev. TON) and USDT (TON). The payout service is provided by MoonPay under its own terms and conditions.
