About the “MON Giveaway” Campaign

We are hosting a six-day-long Campaign in which users can receive rewards for exchanging their cryptocurrency to MON tokens in Crypto Wallet.

The prize pool is $1,000,000 MON, which will be split among 100 randomly selected participants who exchange their tokens for MON during the Campaign period in one transaction worth at least $50.

Duration: 6 days

Only Exchanges for MON that take place within the “Trade” or “Exchange” tabs qualify for the Campaign. Deposits of MON are not eligible. Similarly, only users making an exchange of cryptocurrency in Crypto Wallet for the first time are eligible.

What is MON? What is Monad

MON is the native token of the Monad network, a high-performance blockchain designed to address the scalability and efficiency limitations of existing networks, particularly Ethereum, while maintaining compatibility with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM). This compatibility enables a smooth transition for both developers and users from Ethereum to Monad and allows developers to deploy existing Ethereum smart contracts and use a broad range of applications, tools, wallets, and analytics services with minimal modifications.

We are glad to announce that MON is also available in Crypto Wallet. You can deposit MON from external services, as well as swap them to TON, USDT, or XLM via our Trade section.

How to participate

To participate, exchange any available asset (TON, USDT, or XLM) for MON in one transaction of an amount equivalent to $50 or more during the Campaign period.

Once you make an exchange for MON in a required amount, your participation is automatically confirmed, and you are eligible for the giveaway.

Only your very first exchange for MON in an amount equivalent to $50 or more qualifies for participation. Examples:

  • If you first exchange assets to MON equivalent to $11, then exchange assets to MON equivalent to $55, you will not qualify for the Campaign.
  • If you first exchange assets to MON equivalent to $55, you will automatically qualify for the Campaign.

The amount that you receive in MON should be equivalent to 50 US Dollars. When exchanging TON, USDT or XLM for MON, you will see the dollar equivalent of your exchange amount on the transaction confirmation screen, in the ‘You receive’ field.

Important: 

  • Your Exchange transaction should reach the Success status strictly within the Campaign period in order to qualify.
  • During the exchange, you need to pay a fee that is not counted for the Campaign purposes, so we recommend that you prepare an amount slightly higher than what is required for an exchange transaction.

If you are among the 100 randomly selected participants who exchanged their tokens to MON in an amount equivalent to at least $50, you will be eligible for a prize of 10,000 MON. The MON giveaway will take place via the Wallet News Telegram channel.

How are the MON rewards calculated

For each exchange transaction, we calculate the reward amount in US Dollars and then convert it to MON based on the market rate at the time of your exchange. Therefore, the reward amount can vary, increasing or decreasing, depending on the MON exchange rate at that moment.

Important: the price of MON is volatile, influenced by various factors including market conditions, demand, and liquidity. You can see the current rate for the token on CoinMarketCap website.

When will the MON reward be credited

The prize distribution will be processed within 14 calendar days of the campaign ending. If you are among the randomly selected winners, we will deposit the MON prize directly into your Crypto Wallet account. The winners' Telegram IDs will be posted in Wallet News Telegram channel in advance.

If you are one of the winners, but didn’t receive your reward within 20 days of the contest ending, and you’re sure you met all the conditions, contact our Support team.

Is it mandatory to pass verification (KYC)

To be able to exchange, users only need to complete a basic level of verification. To complete it, you need to provide your full name, date of birth, country of residence and phone number.

That said, at any stage of using the service, Crypto Wallet may request additional information from you. This may include a request for identity verification, proof of address, or confirmation of the source of wealth or funds. In such cases, we will send a notification, along with instructions on the next steps, in your chat with @wallet.
