Trusted Merchants

What does the 'Trusted Merchant' status mean

The ‘Trusted Merchant’ program accepts select high-turnover merchants, allowing them increased order limits, faster support, an official verification mark, and custom nicknames on the P2P Market. You can apply for the ‘Trusted Merchant’ status after achieving certain trading goals.

How to apply to become a Trusted Merchant

Please note: At the moment, submitting an application may not be available to some users. If you do not see the ‘Get Trusted Status’ button on the P2P Market's main screen, then the application option is not available to you yet. You will need to wait a few more days.

  1. Select “Deposit” or “Withdraw” from the Crypto Wallet main menu → P2P Market.
  2. On the P2P Market page, tap “Get Trusted Status”. You can also apply by tapping the corresponding button on the P2P Express page.
  3. To apply for a Trusted Merchant status, you need to reach a number of goals. For this, you need to participate in P2P trades actively and follow the P2P Market’s Terms of Use.
  4. Once you have reached the goals, tap “Choose nickname” and enter the nickname that will be visible to other users in your ads. If you do not wish to change your nickname, simply enter your current one.
  5. Another mandatory requirement for Trusted Merchants is making a security deposit of 300 USDT:
    1. If your Crypto Wallet balance is insufficient, top it up following the on-screen instructions. Once you top up your balance, tap “Confirm & Submit.”
    2. If you already have 300 USDT, simply tap “Confirm & Submit.”

Important:

  • Your nickname must meet the platform’s Terms of Use. You can learn more about the nickname requirements here.
  • Your chosen nickname will not appear in your P2P Market ads until you successfully make your security deposit.
  1. Done! We will review your application and send you a message with the results in the Crypto Wallet chat (@wallet) within 5 days.

Goals and сriteria for becoming a Trusted Merchant

Please note: At the moment, submitting an application may not be available to some users. If you do not see the ‘Get Trusted Status’ button on the P2P Market's main screen, then the application option is not available to you yet. You will need to wait a few more days.

To be eligible to apply for a Trusted Merchant status, you must reach the following goals:

  • A Crypto Wallet account that is registered for at least 30 days;
  • Аt least 50 successfully completed orders;
  • А turnover of at least 2000 USDT in the past 30 days;
  • A rating of no less than 90% successfully completed orders.

You must also meet the following criteria:

  • Extended or Advanced verification;
  • No violations of the P2P Market Terms of Use or the Crypto Wallet User Agreement, at least in the past 2 months.

Note:

  • Using multiple accounts to artificially increase your rating may result in restricted access to the P2P Market or Crypto Wallet.
  • The goals and criteria for getting a Trusted Merchant status are defined by Crypto Wallet at its own discretion and can change periodically in accordance with the changes in P2P Market’s Terms of Use or the Crypto Wallet User Agreement.

What is a security deposit, and why is it needed

A security deposit is required to reduce and cover potential risks when trading on the P2P Market.

When you apply for the “Trusted Merchant” status, you consent to a freeze of 300 USDT on your balance for the duration of the “Trusted Merchant” status. If you do not have that amount currently on your balance, you will need to top up your Crypto Wallet balance before applying.

Note:

  • If you have previously made a 50 USDT security deposit for a Merchant status, you only need to deposit an additional 250 USDT to apply for a Trusted Merchant status.
  • The guarantee deposit amount may periodically change in accordance with the internal regulations of Crypto Wallet.

When will the security deposit be unfrozen

The security deposit remains frozen for the entire duration of the “Trusted Merchant” status.

If the “Trusted Merchant” status is revised by us, the deposit will be unfrozen after 45 days — provided there were no violations of the Crypto Wallet User Agreement or P2P Market Terms of Use that would require withholding the deposit.

If you withdraw from “Trusted Merchant” status yourself, the deposit will be unfrozen within 45 days.

In what cases is my security deposit not returned

In the event of a breach of the P2P Market’s Terms of Use, Crypto Wallet may lock a Trusted Merchant’s security deposit, either in whole or in part, or use it to compensate counterparties or cover related losses.

Important:

  • In case of partial lock, the remaining portion of the security deposit, after resolution of all claims, may be returned to the Trusted Merchant in accordance with the P2P Market’s Terms of Use.
  • Crypto Wallet retains sole discretion to determine the amount to be deducted from the security deposit.

How can I speed up the review of my application

If you have already submitted an application for a Trusted Merchant status, please wait for the decision notification in the @wallet chat.

How can I receive the ‘Trusted Merchant’ status

To reach the necessary goals and apply for a Trusted Merchant status afterwards, it is important that you build a strong reputation on the P2P Market. To do this:
