Delete Crypto Wallet

Deleting a Crypto Wallet Account

Deleting your Crypto Wallet account means stopping the use of the service, not permanently erasing all data. This means:

  • Deleting the account does not reset verification and does not allow to pass it again;
  • If there are restrictions, creating a new account will not restore access to the features;
  • You cannot create a new account and delete a previous one, as only one verified account is allowed in Crypto Wallet.

There are two ways to stop using Crypto Wallet:

  1. Hide Crypto Wallet in the Telegram interface yourself;
  2. Contact our support team to fully stop using the service.

How to hide Crypto Wallet in the Telegram interface

If you want to stop using the service, you can remove Crypto Wallet from Telegram yourself:

  1. Open a chat with @wallet and delete the chat history.
  2. Go to Telegram Settings → Wallet.
  3. Tap the three dots in the top right corner and select “Remove From Menu”.

After this, Crypto Wallet will no longer appear in Telegram.

You can resume using the service with the same account if needed.

How to completely stop using Crypto Wallet

If you decide to fully stop using the service, contact our support team. In this case:

  • We will stop collecting any information about your account;
  • Access to Crypto Wallet and TON Wallet will be restricted;

Note: you can still use TON Wallet in another non-custodial app. Make sure to save your TON Wallet seed phrase in advance.

  • Creating a new Crypto Wallet account will not be possible.

Important: According to the User Agreement and Privacy Policy, user data is stored for up to 5 years after stopping use of the service to comply with legal requirements, fulfill legal obligations, and protect legitimate interests.

Below are the most common reasons for deleting an account.

I accidentally created a Crypto Wallet account

If your account was created by mistake, you don’t have to use it. You can still explore Crypto Wallet features:

With Crypto Wallet’s wide functionality, you may find useful features for yourself.

I provided incorrect information during verification

If you provided incorrect information during verification, deleting your account will not fix the data.

What you can do:

  • If incorrect data was provided at the Basic verification level, complete verification at the Extended or Advanced level and submit documents with the correct information.
  • If incorrect information was provided during Extended or Advanced verification, contact our support team — we will review the information and try to assist you.

My verification was unsuccessful. I want to pass it again

If verification was not successful, deleting your account and creating a new one to pass it again is not possible. Crypto Wallet allows only one verified account.

If you could not pass verification, check the reasons for unsuccessful verification or contact support for more details.

My access to Crypto Wallet is restricted

If your account access is restricted, deleting Crypto Wallet will not remove the restriction or allow creating a new account.

We recommend reading the article on the reasons for access restrictions and possible solutions. If necessary, you can contact our support team.

I have another Telegram account. I want to create a new Crypto Wallet

If you want to use Crypto Wallet with another Telegram account, deleting your current Crypto Wallet account is not required.

According to the User Agreement, each user can have only one Crypto Wallet account. To use Crypto Wallet on another Telegram account:

  1. Complete verification at the Extended or Advanced level on your current Crypto Wallet account.
  2. Open Crypto Wallet on the new Telegram account.
  3. Complete verification at the Extended or Advanced level on the new Crypto Wallet account.

The system will notify you about a “duplicate verification.” You will be able to select the new account as your main one.

If you choose the new account as main, the current account will be restricted. On the old account, only withdrawals will be available — you will not be able to perform other operations.
