How can I withdraw cryptocurrency from Crypto Wallet

You can withdraw cryptocurrency in several ways:

How can I send cryptocurrency to a Telegram contact

  1. Open the chat with the recipient.
  2. Tap the paperclip → Wallet → Send.
  3. Choose a token, enter the amount and confirm the transfer.

The tokens will be credited to the recipient instantly.

If the recipient has not used Crypto Wallet yet, they will receive a message with a link to create an account and claim the tokens — they have 14 days to do this. If no account is created within that time, the funds will be returned to you automatically.

If Crypto Wallet is unavailable to the recipient, the funds will be sent to their DeFi Account.

Note: no fees are charged for transfers to Telegram contacts, but limits apply.

Can I cancel my transfer to a Telegram contact

You can cancel a transfer to a Telegram contact if the recipient has not yet registered in Crypto Wallet and the transaction has the “Pending” status.

How to cancel a transfer: Transaction History → Cancel transaction.

Note: transfers to a contact’s DeFi Account cannot be canceled. The funds can only be returned if the recipient rejects the transfer or does not claim it within 14 days.

How does sending tokens to a Telegram contact’s DeFi Account work

If Crypto Wallet is unavailable to the recipient, the tokens are sent to their DeFi Account through an escrow smart contract. The recipient will receive a notification asking them to accept or reject the transfer.

Until the recipient makes a decision, the tokens remain locked in the smart contract and the transfer cannot be canceled. If the recipient accepts the transfer, the funds will be credited to their DeFi Account. If they reject it, the funds will be returned to you instantly. What happens if the contact does not have DeFi Account

The recipient can claim the transfer after creating a DeFi Account — they have 14 days to do so. If the recipient does not create a DeFi Account within 14 days, the funds will be returned to your balance automatically.

How can I withdraw cryptocurrency to another address

  1. In the main menu, tap Withdraw → External wallet or exchange.
  2. Choose the asset and enter the recipient’s address. TON network tokens, as well as Stocks and ETFs, can be sent not only to a wallet address, but also to .ton or .t.me domains.

If you are withdrawing to an exchange, add a comment (tag/memo) — exchanges use it to identify transfers. You can find it in your exchange account.

  1. Confirm the transaction.

Once the transaction review is completed, the funds will be sent to the specified address.

Note: withdrawals to external wallets are subject to fees and limits.

How can I withdraw cryptocurrency to my DeFi Account

  1. In the main menu, tap Withdraw → External wallet or exchange. 
  2. Choose the asset and enter your DeFi Account address. If you have previously sent this token to your DeFi Account, you can tap Your DeFi Account instead of entering the address manually. 
  3. Confirm the transaction.

Once the transaction review is completed, the funds will be sent to the specified address.

  • If you have linked multiple addresses to your DeFi Account, funds will be sent to the currently selected one. You can find out how to change your current DeFi Account here.
  • Withdrawals to external wallets are subject to fees and limits.

How long does a withdrawal to an external wallet take

Withdrawal times depend on the network:

  • TON, TRC-20 and FLR — instantly after the transaction review.
  • BTC — usually within a few minutes after the transaction review.
  • Ethereum, Solana, XLM and MON — depends on network load and may vary.

Can I cancel a withdrawal to an external wallet

If the transaction has already been sent to the blockchain and has the “Success” status, it cannot be canceled — all blockchain transactions are irreversible.

How can I buy Telegram Stars for a Telegram account with TON

  1. Tap Withdraw → Telegram Stars.
  2. Enter the recipient’s Telegram account (your own or another user’s).
  3. Enter the number of Stars — you will see the payment amount in TON.
  4. Confirm the payment.

The Stars will be credited to the selected Telegram account instantly. You can check your Star balance in Telegram Settings → My Stars.

Note:

  • The minimum purchase amount is 50 Stars, and the maximum is 10,000,000 Stars.
  • Telegram Stars purchases are processed through the third-party service Getgems.
  • Getgems charges a purchase fee, which is included in the payment amount.
